Finance Functional Analyst (SAAS)

Our Vision for this Role

The Functional Analyst is responsible for implementing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions that deliver value to the Finance, Real Estate, and Procurement functions. This role leads functional requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, and ongoing production support for ERP applications. 


The Functional Analyst partners closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into effective system solutions and ensure stable, scalable ERP operations. This position is part of the Enterprise Systems team within the Information Technology organization and collaborates cross functionally to support company objectives. 


What We Will Accomplish Together

  • Guide project teams through planning, requirements gathering, business process design, system configuration, testing, end user training, and post go live support 
  • Act as a trusted business partner, bridging the gap between functional requirements and ERP system capabilities to deliver optimal solutions (Workday preferred) 
  • Analyze current and future state business processes and recommend improvements enabled by ERP functionality 
  • Configure Cloud ERP modules and supporting tools in alignment with approved functional designs and IT standards 
  • Create, maintain, and update critical system artifacts, including: Business and functional requirements, Functional design specifications, Test scripts and test execution results, and Training materials and business process documentation 
  • Execute and support unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities
  • Own and resolve system incidents and problems by: Applying structured troubleshooting techniques, Performing root cause analysis Coordinating fixes and enhancements and Ensuring timely resolution and communication 
  • Update project tracking tools and provide clear, timely status updates, risks, and issue escalations using sound judgement 
  • Collaborate with technical teams, external vendors, and business users to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within scope 
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, IT governance standards, and documentation requirements 

 

What You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field 
  • 5+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years of hands-on functional configuration in one or more Cloud ERP platforms(Workday preferred) 
  • Strong functional expertise in Cloud ERP Financials (Workday preferred), with emphasis on: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA) and Bank Accounting (BA) 
  • Experience supporting Procurement, Real Estate, or related SAAS Applications is a plus 
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes in a shared services or corporate environment 
  • Familiarity with common project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) 
  • ERP certification(s) preferred 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels 
  • Proven ability to take ownership, organize work, and drive tasks to completion while balancing competing priorities 
  • Strong judgement in issue escalation and upward communication 
  • High attention to detail, commitment to quality, and adherence to IT standards and compliance requirements
