Local Store Marketing - Lead
Position description
Based in the Delaware Valley / Greater Philadelphia Area, this Local Store Marketing Lead will drive a critical, high-impact initiative at Flynn Group redefining how we engage communities and accelerate growth across multiple brands. Positioned at the center of strategy and execution, you’ll leverage Flynn’s size and scale to design and deliver innovative marketing programs within a subset of our national portfolio.
This role allows you to craft the plan and own the results. You’ll execute local marketing strategies in your market, while also supporting and holding field marketers in at least two other regions accountable for best practice deployment. Reporting to our VP of Business Insights and Marketing, your influence will extend across brands and regions with visibility to senior and executive leadership and the potential to expand your impact nationwide.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Partner with VPs and Directors of Marketing to develop and iterate strategies that amplify local marketing and build sales across 2-3 brands / region
- Execute local marketing initiatives, including community engagement (e.g., sponsorships, charitable events, community relationships), catering, and activations (e.g., influencer campaigns, guest appreciation days, publicity events)
- Support and guide field marketers in other regions, ensuring best practice deployment and positive results
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to Brand marketing and Operations
- Partner with Business Intelligence to support test & learn and ROI calculations
- Build and maintain a robust marketing database tracking competitive activity, test & learn results, and return on marketing investment
Desired skills and experience:
- 5+ years of tactical marketing experience with a record of academic and professional success
- Proven ability to execute local marketing strategies, including community networking, sponsorships, social media management, influencer campaigns, and CRM/customer management
- Quick learner, able to adapt to new industries and concepts
- Curious and creative disposition – naturally questions the status quo and is always seeking innovative approaches
- Detail oriented, able to multi-task and function at a high level under tight deadlines
- Strong communicator and collaborator across business functions
- Partnership-driven attitude, with a “win as one” mentality and approach
